Want One Contest Starts in 2 Days!

The Judging period for the contest starts Wednesday. I have spent the last few weeks researching and studying ways to win. Here is a list of things that will help:

1. Views - watch the video all the way through and share with people you know. I am still not sure how youtube counts a view, but I do know that simply refreshing the page does not count.

2. Rating - Rate the video 5 stars

3. Comment - post anything you want, just post. A good idea would be to ask a question. That way, I can respond and thus generate more comments.

These 3 things are equally important in the scoring system. You will need a youtube account to do number 2 and 3. sign up here - http://www.youtube.com/signup?next=/index

4. Add the video to your favorites - If you have done so already, please remove it and re-add it on or after Wednesday.

5. post a video response - You can use a web cam to record a message if you don't have a video camera. Just like with the comments, if you ask me a question, I can make a video response to your question, thus generating more video responses.

Number 4 and 5 also require a youtube account. These do not directly effect the scoring, but will help the video get a "Youtube Honor." I think the honors category of the scoring could be the deciding factor in determining the winner as it could easily be over looked.

I will also be posting the video on several social news sites like Digg, reddit and stumbleupon.

The contest does not start until Wednesday, but I wanted to post this a few days early in case someone wanted to prepare a video response.

And if anyone has any clever ideas on generating traffic please share.
